This shareware version of typeinfo uses a counting method involving writing to the disk, each time it is loaded. If this doesn't take place then the program refuses to run. For this reason, if typeinfo is refusing to load, make sure that the floppy disk (if it is being run from one) has the tab set to UNprotected. Check that it is software unprotected, and check that you are not running it from the read-only version of ArcFs. In the full registered version of typeinfo, this problem does not occur.
